Bike Revolt: Could you present yourself for Trial Inside?
Max Luca: I’m Max Luca, I'm 24 years old, from Brasov, Romania. I’m passionate about trial riding and everything bike-related. I started riding my bike when I was 4.
BR: Could you speak about your bike? What parts are you using?
Max Luca: I love my current bike, I think it's the best I had so far, it's so rigid and just perfect for what I do. It weights only 9,3 kg and I'm still working on making it lighter. My bikes' configuration is: Yaabaa Stinger frame with Try-all fork, Trialtech handlebar, Reset titanium bb, Try-all CNC cranks, Wellgopedals, TMS rear and Trialtech front rim, Try-all Shift and Sticky Light tires, Hope and Magura HS 33 brakes.
BR: You competed at BiciCooltura and you turned out second place. Does that mean it was a good day for you?
Max Luca: Yes, I had a really good day, it was I won second place in elite class there, even if the weather wasn't the best, it was raining and the tracks were all slippery, but I enjoyed the contest and the racing. I think I did it well.
BR: Where do you see yourself in the future?
Max Luca: Ehmm, I plan to race in the European contest next year and if everything works out for me, of course I plan to move forward and maybe go for the World competitions in the future. Everything is possible, I guess. I just have to keep training and getting better.
BR: Are there any other trial riders in your town?
Max Luca: Of course, there are like... 10 riders.
BR: Who is your favorite rider?
Max Luca: Well, I have a few favorites: the Coustellier brothers, Giacomo and Kenny.
BR: Do you have any other hobbies and passions in your life, other than trials?
Max Luca: Well, of course: snowboarding, aircraft modeling, photography, traveling, programming, design. I just don’t have enough time for them all.
